Unit 1 LO1 Media Sectors

Independent task: Guilty Media Pleasure

I want a confession! Choose a media product (from any sector) that you secretly like and, but that is perhaps not very popular or age appropriate. For instance, I probably watch Amazing World of Gumball a little more often than I probably should... Then produce a short case study (minimum 300 words) that covers the following: 1. Basic information - think who, what, when etc. 2. An outline of the product - explain it as if I haven't seen/heard it, which I might not have 3. Critical responses to the product - what have official reviewers said about the product 4. Why you enjoy it Aim to have the work on your blog by Monday. Feel free to use images/video to illustrate your response.

Course details

Welcome to Year 1 of Level 3 Media

And we're off! I will use this blog to upload lesson content and share things that I *think* are interesting and relevant (I make no promises). When you have created your blog, I will also pin a post of all of your addresses. Feel free to use your blogs as a portfolio for Media - you can add as much media related info as you like, or share work you have done independently. This could be very useful for university applications. WARNING: It is an academic blog and will be used as assessment evidence, so you will need to keep it suitable for a learning environment! If you have any queries or questions, email me: drobertson@kingswoodsecondaryacademy.org Guidance for setting up your blog: https://www.wikihow.tech/Start-a-Blog-on-Blogger
